Major Benefactors of the new building have their organistion & companies logos displayed above. We are very grateful to these organisation’s for their tremendous support and large donations towards the construction of our new patient & family accommodation building. The Lion Foundation in particular was the first organisation to come on board making the Trusts vision for additional patient and family accommodation a reality by donating a grant of 1 million dollars to the Trust to launch the fundraising campaign. We are very grateful to them for taking the initial plunge to get our fundraising underway and for supporting families in need.

The Rotary & Lions Service Clubs throughout the South Island have also been instrumental with the fundraising for the new building. The Rotary Club of Christchurch gave the Trust a $40,000 donation towards the new building early in the planning stages in 2005. Since then many more clubs have also donated funds to the project. We are very grateful for the ongoing support of these service clubs who also assisted with the initial fundraising for Ranui and the ongoing upkeep and running costs of Ranui House. The Names of the supporting clubs are listed under Life Members & Supporters of the Trust.
