'Big Ranui' Consists of Seven Levels
The Trustees fondly called the two buildings - 'Little Ranui' and 'Big Ranui'. Ranui provides everything you require except food and personal toiletries. The ground floor of 'Little Ranui has the administrative offices, and both buildings have large communal kitchen, dining room, Sky TV/Lounge and toilets.
'Little Ranui' - each floor has two semi self-contained apartments and one fully self-contained apartment. All have two double bedrooms with single beds. These beds have the ability to be made into a super king and linen is available from the office for this purpose. Electric blankets, duvets and radio alarm clocks are provided. The third floor has two, semi self-contained apartments and one fully self-contained apartment. These apartments have one double bedroom with two single beds.
'Big Ranui' - there is an assortment of studio, one bedroom, two bedroom and self contained apartments.
All apartments have their own lounge, laundry and bathroom. TVs, DVD's/Video's and radios are provided in all apartments. Lift access is available to all floors. Unless you are in a self-contained apartment all cooking is done in the main kitchens on the ground floors. However each apartment has a small fridge, sink and pantry space. Toast and cold food can be prepared in these apartments.
The following equipment is also provided in each apartment. Reading lamp, bedside lamps, hairdryer, electric jug, iron, toaster, toasted sandwich maker, all linen, washing machine & dryer.
Each apartment has its own phone, however the lines are tollbarred. However you are able to use calling cards on the phones to make toll calls. Mobile phones are able to be used on the premises. Laptop computers are availabnle and wireless access is available at a small charge. You may bring your own laptop.
Bassinettes, portacots, highchairs, and foldaway beds are also available. Please advise the staff if you require them.
