Welcome to our 'Home away from Home' - 1 Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch, directly opposite the Antigua Boatsheds and the Riverside Entrance to Christchurch Hospital on the corner of Cashel Street and Cambridge Terrace stands two buildings, a three storey and a six storey, both known as Ranui House (Big Warm Place).

Ranui provides patients (from all hospital departments) and their families with inner city unit living in close proximity to Christchurch Hospital in a peaceful and supportive environment.  Ranui is a haven for families offering support and companionship with amazing views of Hagley Park, the Avon River and the Botanical Gardens. 

We would like you to be as comfortable as possible during your stay at Ranui House.  This may be a difficult time for you and your family and every endeavour will be made to make you feel at home.
